Spreading the Love

Los Pinos fence inauguration

The inauguration of the perimeter fence for the Community Children's Center in Los Pinos was held recently honoring Louise Flippin for her dedicated work on behalf of the children in Mexico and for CUPS continuing to live out her legacy through its support and service to the people along the border. Louise is still fondly remembered in Mexico because you generously provide us with the resources to continue her work. Her love for the children in Mexico continues to be spread through your continued support of CUPS.

Beautiful tribute to Louise for her many years of service

Christmas Donations

Christmas donations poured in over the holidays. Donations came from Brenham Presbyterian Church, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in San Antonio and McAllen Presbyterian Church. La Grange Presbyterian sent a shipment of quilts. A team of Fidencio, Rafael, Linda Parsons, Stan Marley and Sonjia Wasser took the donations to the Escuela Juan G. Oropeza,  Escuela Saul Aguilar, Escuela Petra Valdez and Escuela Caroline Balboa.

Christmas Donations

Joint projects like this one made the Christmas season very special in 2017 for many folks on both sides of the border. Thank you for your special donations.

Upcoming Projects

Ensenada Dining Hall

CUPS continues to deliver Personal Energy Transportation (PETs) devices to disabled recipients and is currently undertaking four new projects in Mexico. The construction of a fence at the kindergarten in Valle Hermoso and a dining hall reconstruction in Ensenada are presently underway.

A kitchen for Ejido La Barranca and a classroom to replace the dilapidated facility in Ejido Tahuachal are all approved and planned for the near future.
